The Mystery of the Buried Crosses: A Narrative of Psychic Exploration by Hamlin Garland, published in 1939. Beginning in 1914 a psychic began discovering ancient artifacts and pagan crosses in remote regions on the West coast after receiving directions via spirit communication. After the mediums death the author used her husbands notebooks and another seance medium to continue the communication which brought them to remote deserts and far away isolated wilds to find unusual crosses and relics. Many of the relics were believed to be Aztec in origin. Illustrated. Hardcover with original jacket with some tape repair and chipping to jacket.
